Danny Brownie Agency is an amalgamation of the many years of dedicated work in various areas of the entertainment industry by its’ founder and CEO, Danny Brownie. Having proved himself time and time again as a successful industry mogul, Brownie believes that it’s time to pull on his years of experience and expertise and place everything under one umbrella, DBA.
Known for his success as a musician, music producer, artiste manager, show promoter and work in advertising, Brownie started his music career as a singer in the early 70’s with his family group, “The Brownie Bunch”. In the early 80’s as producer and band member of “The Bloodfire Posse”, Brownie got his first taste of international success when the group landed a recording deal with CBS Records (Sony). Brownie quickly rose to prominence in the music industry playing for and producing a number of international and Reggae music super stars such as; Jimmy Cliff, Shabba Ranx, Maxi Priest, Beyonce, Pitbull, Bunny Wailer, Freddie McGregor, Buju Banton and lots more. Brownie started and headed his own record label and record distribution company “Main Street Records” and later “Mainstreet Music Publishers”. In the early 2000’s he established “Caribbean Gospel Inc.” a gospel music distribution and artiste management agency through which he helped to launch the gospel music careers of, Prodigal Son, Chevelle Franklyn, DJ Nicholas, Junior Tucker, Ryan Mark, Omari, Goddy Goddy, Jason Mighty and more.
Today, under the banner “Agency Of Change”, DBA has managed to pool together some of the Caribbean’s finest ministers of the Gospel with the intention of uniting their voices to usher in a new era of unity and collaboration. Together these agents of change will help to join hands and hearts across the world behind our gospel message and musical heritage. DBA also represents DJ’s, MC’s, Voice Over Talents and offer services such as events planning and production, music industry consultancy, advertisement production, promotion, music production and distribution.
